About Dr. Waldrep
Dr. Waldrep is a board-certified general surgeon at Medical City Dallas. He is certified on the da Vinci Surgical System, which allows him to complete complex, minimally invasive procedures with minimal downtime. Dr. Waldrep is a member of the Texas Medical Association, the American College of Surgeons, and the Dallas County Medical Society.
Born and raised in Dallas, Dr. Waldrep graduated near the top of class at St. Mark’s School of Texas. He attended Duke University where he joined ROTC and studied Economics and Biology. Although, Dr. Waldrep’s interest in medicine and patient care developed at an early age, it was his desire to lead through service and sacrifice that led to his decision to serve in the United States Army.
After graduating from Duke University, Dr. Waldrep returned home to Dallas, to attend the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, where he graduated in the top third of his class.
